Praying for self and others
When you pray, do you include others also in your prayers? Some prayers used by Hindus:
“Thou are the mother and the father,
Thou are the brother and the friend,
Thou are the knowledge and the wealth,
Thou are the lord of all”
“O almighty God,
Do good to all,
Be generous to all,
Be kind to all,
Do bless all in any way and every way”
तà¥à¤µà¤®à¥‡à¤µ माता च पिता तà¥à¤µà¤®à¥‡à¤µ,
तà¥à¤µà¤®à¥‡à¤µ बंधू च सखा तà¥à¤µà¤®à¥‡à¤µ,
तà¥à¤µà¤®à¥‡à¤µ विदà¥à¤¯à¤¾ दà¥à¤°à¤µà¤¿à¤£à¤® तà¥à¤µà¤®à¥‡à¤µ,
तà¥à¤µà¤®à¥‡à¤µ सरà¥à¤µà¤‚ मम देव देव.
All of us pray for self but when we include others in our prayers then we can be sure that our prayers will be accepted by God.
I dont think that the last prayer u included in ur blog is what u said in the topic.
Tvamev means “aap”.
We say u (God ) r every thing and doesnt relates with what u said we should paray for others too.
Hello,
In Shakespearean English “Thou” is equivalent of YOU or “AAP”.
