SOme Business Intelligence

I suppose many of You know about it, for them Its just a flashback, for the rest its going to be a short story.

The following story shows the Busines intelligence, It tells us what a simple marketing skill or tip can change the fate of a million dollar Company.

It was the time few years back. Untill then the Indian toothpaste company was entirely dominated by COLGATE. BUt with the modernisation various other comapnies got into this business and the main cause of the development of these new companies was the heavy advertisemnt apart from the quality of their product.

The Colgate was initially unable to cope up with the new strategy and was going down. They were unable to fill the money requirements for the need of Extensive advertisement.

THE COMPANY WAS GOING DOWN.

Then the genious marketing Strategy———–
WHAT THEY DID WAS—-Increase the diameter of the mouth of the paste by something around a MILIMETER….
This resulted in the consumption of some extra paste by the Customers. BUt the customers dint know about that and hence dint complain.

This CUMULATIVE extra Sale-Profit served for the MONEY FOR THEIR advertisement and SOOOOOON THEY RECOVERED. And colgate, these days have reached its present Heights…

Is not it amazing????
