Ignorance is Bliss

Why is ignorance such sweet bliss to humanity and yet, at the same time, destroying us?

It’s everywhere and people are happier in their on private and confidential worlds, lying to themselves and putting others down for a belief that they might have?
Why are wars started over religion when no one knows the truth? Why are children beat up for being different? …
We, intellectuals are too aware of the imperfections in life that living loses its idealistic magic and natural charms. There is general thought that intellectual’s life is somewhat disheartening because we know too much about life.
When our expectations of life do not exceed its capacity, we will hopefully get the same comforts of the person in fantasy-land.
So, it is always better to think that nobody will ever understand you completely, and you can only speak for yourself. There will always be a major distortion between what you know, what you will be able to communicate, and what people will then understand.

People who are willing to analyze their own mind set and behavioral attitudes are brave but it doesn’t make them better than those who can’t or give them the right to condemn them. I think it is the duty of those to be understanding to others as well. The more interactive you become, the better the mode of communication will be for you and others.

It is true that we judge a person from the very point of our likings and dislikings. But it is totally wrong .Because no one in this world is identical. So no uniform justification is possible.

I have never been able to convince myself that ignorance is bliss. What is ignorance? Is it the total lack of knowledge or insufficient knowledge or wrong knowledge about something, or about people? All three put people to trouble. People are easily inclined to form opinion about others and say uncharitable things about others based on incomplete or wrong knowledge. In most of the cases, their opinion about others is based on their own perception which is normally not correct. Why form opinion about others and pass judgment on them? take them as they are and life will be more sweet than what we have today.
