Hot hot Bajjis



Besan- 1/4 kg
Soda — 2 tea spoons
Red chilly powder -2 tea spoons
Capsicum- 2
Onions — 4
Garam masala — 2 tea spoons
Lemon juice — 2 table spoons
Oil — 2 cups
Salt- according to taste


First of all cut the capsicum vertically into slices. Next cut onions into small pieces. Mix chilly powder, garam masala, salt & lemon juice in the onion pieces. The onion mix is ready. Now mix soda, some salt, chilly powder in besan. Mix with water and make it into thick liquid state and the besan mix is ready. Take the oil, put in tava and heat it. Now dip the capsicum pieces into the besan mix such that it gets coated on all sides and fry in the oil. Now make a vertical cut in it & stuff it with the onion mix.

    HI vamsi, Those bajjis are yumy. I love bajjis very much. I generally eat them outside, but I will make it in the home this time. Thanks for the receipe
