BAKED CHEESE POTATOES :-
FOR 4 PORTIONS
INGREDIENTS :-
4 BIG SIZE POTATOES
200 GMS CHEESE
2 MEDIUM SIZE FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS
PEPPER 2 TSP
SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE
METHOD :-
– PEEL THE POTATO , WASH IT & THAN APPLY SALT & OIL.
– BAKE THE POTATOES IN THE OVEN TILL THEY ARE DONE. ( CHECK THE POTATOES BY INSERTING A KNIFE OR TOOTH PEEK )
– THAN REMOVE THE POTATOES FROM THE OVEN. ALLOW THEM TO COOL & CUT EACH POTATO INTO HALF.
– SEE THAT THE POTATO DOES NOT BREAK WHILE CUTTING INTO HALVES.
SCOOP OUT THE POTATOES WITHOUT BREAKING THEM . JUST TRY TO MAKE A CUP OF THE POTATO.
– DO NOT DISCARD THE POTATO WHICH IS REMOVED BY SCOOPING.
– MUSH THE SCOOP POTATOES WITH CHEESE & MIX THE FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS , SALT & PEPPER .
– THAN FILL THE MIXTURE IN THE SHELL OF THE POTATO & AGAIN BAKE IT TILL GOLDEN BROWN.
– BAKED CHEESE POTATOES SHOULD BE SERVED HOT.
A nice idea. It has made me remember my childhood. When I was a child, a chaatwala used to come the locality where we lived. He will bring boiled potatoes. He will cut them in two portions of 20-80 size. He will scoop the big half and fill it up with chatpata water. He will then cover it with smaller half. We will put the entire potato in our mouth and eat it. It was wonderfull.
