This real-life anecdote dates back to the times of GB Shaw and Marilyn Monroe.

Marilyn Monroe and GB Shaw were attending a function when the two happened to meet. Their conversation goes like this.
MM: Hello, Mr. Shaw, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I have heard a lot about your intellect.
GBS: Why my lady! It’s my pleasure to meet you too and I have heard a lot about your beauty.
MM: Why don’t we get married? Imagine what the world would have to say when we get a baby with your brains and my looks?
GBS: It would be my pleasure to marry a woman like you. But I am scared to imagine what if things happen the other way around and we get a baby with my looks and your brains??
