Idli Manchurian
This is something, which I have attempted from leftover idlies. I am not sure, if this recipe is available. In case if any one is able to lay their hands on any url, please intimate admin for removal of this blog.
Ingredients
6 Idlis cut into cubes
Corn flour
2 Table Spoons Soya Sauce
1 Tbl Spoon Tomato Sauce
1 Onion finely chopped
¼ Inch Ginger finely chopped
2 Finely chopped Green Chillies
¼ Tea spoon Sugar
Salt to taste
Oil
Method
Cut the Idlies into ½ inch cubes. Mix corn flour and the idlis and ensure that the idlis are completely coated with the corn flour.
Take a pan and add about 4 table spoons oil. Shallow fry the idli cubes till golden brown and keep aside.
Mix 1 teas spoon corn flour, 2 Table spoon Soya sauce and salt in 1/4th cup of water.
Add 1 table spoon of oil in a pan. Add the ginger, green chillies and onion. Fry until the onions turn golden brown. Add the soya sauce mixture on to the pan. When the mixture turns dark brown add the fried idlis and toss it along with a table spoon of tomato sauce and sugar for a minute.
