Question 1: “Since Hinduism does not believe in the possibility of eternal punishment, wouldn’t it make sense for people to manage their afterlife risk by betting against Hinduism and taking a long hard look at those religions or worldviews which do entertain that possibility?”

Let us try to understand concept of Hindu philosophy in short. You will find that the Hinduism deals with the basic motive of a living organism and treats human being as one of the family member having same traits as other living organisms with the possibility of interchanging of the roles within the family. It states that the basic instinct for any life is to seek happiness. Everyone is only after his own happiness and not after anyone else’s happiness through out all his life, through the different activities.
