Peeping Toms

In a journey by road I enjoy looking outside , like most people . That’s why perhaps people have a fetish for the window seat . I remember we siblings often fought for the window seat and whoever could occupied that esteemed seat would rather feel pity for others .

Such a journey is enjoyable because not only that you can enjoy natural beauty but also have a look on the houses of people . Every house seems to be a stage where the drama of the day is about to be unfolded as soon as you have a look . The instant glance will provide you a slice of life , most of the time interesting , thought- provoking and some times very disturbing, so much so that it devastates the spirit of the whole day . And sometimes it provides some soothing as well as funny scenes like neighbourhood Romeo signalling his Juliet by some strange activity which he thinks is very innovative can be detected only by his beloved . This peeping activity will save you from the hurly burly inside the bus , you can ignore what your nearest passenger is doing . If you have to journey in the same route day in and day out then you will be familier with the lives of people . You will feel curious if suddenly someone is missing from the scene .

There are dramas on the road itself too . If you know how to take out the juice then you will enjoy this peeping activity . Sometimes I feel guilty for this , thinking whether it is rightful or not . But I cannot stop myself . I love to think that other people too do this and enjoy .
