Thackerey’s call “Biharis” as “Bimari” of India

Thackerey’s call “Biharis” as “Bimari” of India

After Raj Thackerey’s acrimonious outburst against “Biharis”, it was time for Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackerey to rage his resentment. The issue and politics of “anti-migrant” in Maharashtra took a fresh lease of life when Shiv Sena and its chief Bal Thackeray today abuse Biharis. The veteran political stalwart called “Biharis”, a burden in many parts of the country and the most worthless elements of the country. This spiteful outburst by him was apparently in response to MPs from Bihar disrupting Lok Sabha yesterday in protest against the attacks on north Indians last month by activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), the party formed by Thackeray’s estranged nephew Raj Thackerey.

    Hello,

While I agree that such statements are un-called for, has anyone realised and assessed the reasons for such migrations. It is a clarion call to all poltical outfits and leaders to take note of the seriousness of the situation in bihar and take appropriate action to uplift the state in all fronts.

If the development, in-education, infrastructure, industries and social welfare measures are taken on a war footing, such migrations could be stalled.

This should be taken as an eye-opener and the positives aspects of this will have to looked at.
