IPL Hyderabad Team
In IPL palyer auctions Hyderabad had owned a good international and national players. The CEO of Hyd franchise P.K.Rao had said that this all possible by VVS Laxman generosity by turning down the iconic status. He is the captain of Hyderabad team.
Iyer said: “He gave up the icon status in the interest of the team. “He said, ‘I will keep the team ahead”. He said “he wanted the team to have a larger budget and he said he didn’t mind not being an icon as long as he led Hyd.”

But only 4 international players can be played in the match. The matches will be started from April 16 in banglore. its a tounament of 44 days with 59 matches and the final is on june 1st at mumbai.

VVS Laxman is great sportsman and has been promising feature in Team India for many years. His gesture will certainly escalate the status of Hyderabad in IPL tournament. The team also has great names like Symonds, Gilchrist, Rohit Sharma and RP Sharma to its credits. It will interesting how this team will fare against all big and influential teams. IPL will certainly provide an arena for great sporting event and Hyderabad team will certainly be one of the great highlights.
The important thing to note is that there are 3 lefty bowlers in the single team that includes R.P. Singh, chaminda vaas and zoysa.

I am great fan of VVS LAxman, he was ignored very badly by the selectors in the ODI’s. He is a class player and I am happy that he is the captain of Hyderbad. The team is filled up with lot of hitters. Rohit sharma & Laxman has to contribute a lot if any collapse in the top order. Symonds, Gilchrist, Afridi & H Gibbs are all very tentative when they start innings, once settled down then they will hit all over the park… So the role of Laxman & Rohit Sharma is very key for Hyderbad team…
