Top players clear fitness test


Despite all the hustle-bustle of flashy ICL tournament, the news about the Team India development always garner major spotlight. The forthcoming India-South Africa is new topic of discussion and all eyes are set on it. The prime requisite to be selected is fitness test and two major players are supposed to be clearing these tests. Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni have cleared fitness tests as they recovered from injuries and would be available for the three-Test series against South Africa starting next week. Harbhajan suffered a left hamstring injury while Dhoni was recovering from a sprain in the fourth finger of his right hand picked up during the tour of Australia. Physiotherapist Paul Close conducted these fitness tests in Bangalore where these two top players were declared fit for forthcoming series.

    Its always nice to know that the young winning side is ready again and this time they are taking on the new leader of the ICC ratings – South Africa…having healped in displacing one side …lets wish them luck in this venture

    South Africa is heading the ICC rankings in ODI and not in Tests. Australia still heads the rankings in Test cricket.
