SOme Business Intelligence

I suppose many of You know about it, for them Its just a flashback, for the rest its going to be a short story.

The following story shows the Busines intelligence, It tells us what a simple marketing skill or tip can change the fate of a million dollar Company.

It was the time few years back. Untill then the Indian toothpaste company was entirely dominated by COLGATE. BUt with the modernisation various other comapnies got into this business and the main cause of the development of these new companies was the heavy advertisemnt apart from the quality of their product.

The Colgate was initially unable to cope up with the new strategy and was going down. They were unable to fill the money requirements for the need of Extensive advertisement.

THE COMPANY WAS GOING DOWN.

Semestar Exams Shifted….for no reasons

Have you heard of that the semestar exams of an University getting postponed FOR NO REASONS.

Its true, I am studying in kolkata, West Bengal in an Engineering college which is under the University of WBUT.

This University controls All the Private Engineering colleges of West Bengal comprising of at least 30,000 students and much more…..

We were giving the exams in its due schedule, but suddenly yesterday, we heard that the last Exam that was supposed to be held on 11th of this month has been postponed to 18th of this Month. And as far as we the students, We do not know any real reason for this change.

A sudden change in the schedules left all of us in a miserable condition. We had been in a flow of giving exams but suddenly a gap put all our planning into real suspension.

A little story of few days back

This story goes back to my early twenties. A friend of mine came back from Nepal. At the time, many of my friends, were travelling to India and Nepal. He had brought some small stuff with him. Little buddhas, some gems and the odd piece of jewelery.

In this friend’s house, a youngster was hanging around. Suddenly the friend took out some bowls. They were made of human skulls. These were very nicely decorated with some gemstones. I believe it might have been lapis lazuli and turquoise embedded in silver. Personally, I firmly oppose the smuggling or trading in these holy relics. Let them stay in the culture they belong. Let them remain holy.

THE WATER TURTLE

The water turtle

Last summer,on an afternoon while i was in the garden doing some chores to keep it clean.

Suddenly someone was calling me.A woman ,who stood at the frontdoor holding a waterturtle fom about 20 cm in her hands

She told me that my turtle was escaped and was about to cross the road(we don’t have a turtle at all)

We live in a very noisy street,wich is full of traffic

It would be certainly hit by a car or a truck

When i took the waterturtle in my hands it looked straight at me(in the eyes)It seemed not to worry at all.

The shield was slightly damaged probably from an other accident

I put the turtle in the backyard,our two dogs where more scared of the turtle than the other way around.
