The legislation is ‘Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007’. The legislation s awaiting President’s assent.
betterlifeRecently I was asked a question – “who should be the role model for Indian people”?.
My reply was that only such a person can be the role model who is in a state of consistency relating to Manasa, vacha, karmana (thoughts, words, actions), who has synchronized these three aspects of human behaviour in his life, he who speaks exactly what he thinks and does only those things that he believes in should be our role model.
Our role model should not speak something that he does not believe in.
Our model should promise exactly what he can deliver.

The committee has delivered what it was asked to deliver.

In a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh he has said, “I would like to propose the name of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee for recognition with Bharat Ratna this year. His contribution to our national life is so varied and well-known, and sustained over such a long period, that it bears no reiteration”.
betterlifeA Delhi court has issued a notice to Husain to appear before it in a case related to him painting Bharat Mata and Hindu Gods in nude. Husain has run away from the country to avoid facing the law.
Hussain has hurt the feelings of Hindus. He and his supporters have cried freedom of expression. No body under the law can hurt others’ feelings citing freedom of expression. He should come and appear before the court. He should willingly accept if court awards him any punishment. Why is he running away? Court may even let him go unpunished.
betterlifeToday I read in the newspaper that BCCI Officials have said that tour is not in danger. A dirty abuse escaped from my mouth. Are these officials Indians? Do they have any respect for India and Indians? They are worried about the tour. They are not worried about insults hurled at Indians and India. They are not worried about Bhartiya Asmita. Sharad Pawar, Rajiv Shukla, they all should resign. They and their type of cricket is not bigger than Indian’s and India’s self-respect.
betterlifeIf I agree with what Income Tax Appellate Tribunal of India (ITAT) has said then all my beliefs will be proved wrong. I have always maintained that people have no love for poliicians. Politicians are always seen by people as a necessary evil who have contaminated every aspect of social, moral and religious behaviour.

Two media lensmen catch the horror on film. Morning newspapers tell the people. There is an outcry. Mumbai police commissoner unmasks himself and his police force. He blames media, said police can not be present everywhere, such incidents will keep on happenng, it can happen now, it can happen at this place. The language used by him was bad and insulting. His body language was revolting. His statement shocked me. He praised his cops.
