Dial a number and complain

Traveling Ticket Examiners (TTE) and RPF police personnel cause the biggest harassment to passengers on trains and platforms. Their job is to ensure that genuine passengers can travel on Indian trains comfortably, but most of them do he just opposite. They harass passengers and pick their pockets.

Second-hand smoke in your lungs

Delhi has a law against smoking in public places but law enforcing authorities seldom do their job. Recently they took the first initiative and came out to enforce the law. See who was caught, a policeman from Haryana, a defense officer, a doctor and many students? The were challaned. They paid the fine. A newspaper clicked their photos and printed in today’s issue.

“I never over-charge and refuse a passenger”, he said

There is one unofficial auto stand in front of our apartments. You will always find 2 to 3 autos parked there. But they take passengers only as per their choice. If your destination does not appeal them they refuse. Their routine excuses are:
हाँ भाई कोई जाएगा क्या?
नहीं यार मुझे तो किसी सवारी को लेना है.
साब बहाँ से वापसी मैं सवारी नहीं मिलती.

Why should I pay to read ads?

Newspapers are full of ads. It increases number of pages and then price. I pay for news but newspaper owners force me to pay ads also.

Take the case of today’s Times of India. It has 40 pages. 10 full pages are only ads. 12 pages have ads in 3/4th page. 7 pages have half page ads. Total comes to 22 pages. Why should I pay fr these 22 pages? I should be asked to pay for 18 pages which contain news or other information.

I hope that situation with other newspapers is also similar. Newspaper readers should get together and force newspapers to reduce the price.

Are you with me friends?

Start your day with positive thoughts

Every day is a new day. No two days in our life are same in all respects. I am an early riser, get up at 0345 AM. My morning routine is same but yet no two days are same. My physical and mental conditions are different. My priorities for the day are different. What then can be same every day? I know that it is our positive attitude which is same every day. I know that every body knows it. Yet we fail to cultivate a positive attitude and spoil our day. We indulge in negative thoughts, negative speech and negative actions. We waste positive energy and create negative energy.

Sonia Gnadhi in Govt ads???

One thing which hurts me in the morning is seeing various Govt ads in daily newspapers. For every simple work done by Delhi Govt, there is an ad in the newspaper. Many of them talk about normal Govt’s jobs. Why waste public money for telling public about it? A press note issued to media will do the job. Also the best proof is that people will see if something has been done for them.
